Hub City Garden Tour

A great opportunity on Labor Day weekend to share the beauty and peace of area gardens with family and friends!

Hub City Garden Tour is a self-guided walking exploration of six varied garden settings in Lubbock.

From established gardens with plant and design ideas to steal, to a xeriscape demonstration garden that will show ways to conquer the challenge of gardening in west Texas, there is something for everyone — from the casual visitor to the seasoned gardener.

Ticket sales are online. Tickets are $20 for adults; kids under age 13 are free.  On September 2, garden locations will be emailed to all ticket holders, and publicized for those who want to buy tickets at one of the locations on the event day.

You may start your tour in any of the six gardens, and the gardens can be viewed in any order. Each ticketholder will receive a guidebook with a map at the first garden they choose to visit.

Lubbock Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and highlight areas of interest in each garden.

Please note that many of the gardens are not wheelchair accessible or suitable for strollers. Comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen are suggested. Photography is acceptable. This event takes place rain or shine.Proceeds benefit the free educational outreach programs offered in Lubbock County by the 70-plus members of the Lubbock Master Gardener Association (LMGA).
