In this bed you will find:
- The Knockout roses were started by rose breeder Bill Radler when he crossed seedlings of ‘Carefree Beauty’ with ‘Razzle Dazzle’ to create the original Knock Out rose. The family now includes varieties that range from blush to vibrant red, and even yellow. They are drought tolerant and require little care. A good rose for those just starting out. The bloom does not last as long as a hybrid tea rose but are prolific.
- Salvia- (Lamiacea or mint family)-attracts pollinators including bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Drought tolerant easy-care plant that can be show stopping when planted in groupings. It comes in a variety of colors including blue, purple, pink, white and reds.
