Maintenance: Prune by 1/3 to 1/2 to keep plant from getting woody. Prune in fall before hard freeze or in summer after blooming.

Lavandula sp.
A herb that can be used as a low hedge in the garden or can be grown in a container. It is ideal for cutting and drying flowers to be used in potpourri. L. angustifolia is known as English Lavender (most cold hardy). L. stoechas is known as Spanish Lavender.
